Coreopsis is a spring planted crop but it requires some heat and light to break dormancy. While dormant, keep them on the dry side until they begin to leaf out, then provide average moisture once they are actively growing. Though each cultivar varies in height, it is best to pinch them all 1-2 times to promote branching.
