If you have trouble with blueberries, this could be the plant for you. This easy-to-grow berry tolerates poor soil, is not bothered by pests or diseases, and even tolerates urban pollution. Mid-June fleshy berries are sweet and tart with a blueberry-like flavor; wonderful fresh or dried. Yields 5 to 10 lbs. of fruit. Requires cross-pollination by varieties with a similar bloom time, such as Polar Jewel or Aurora. Deciduous.
