A hose or two and a sprinkler and you have your own backyard splash pad. Bonus points if you have a trampoline and set one up nearby. My kids love it.

Plant Memories

Gardening isn’t canceled, and it’s not too late to plant. You’ll want to be more conscious of watering and allow your plants to get at least a little shade throughout the day, but you can still get planting. It’s also great fun for the whole family. Think about assigning the kids a section of the garden they’re in charge of. Give each kid a pot or small planter they’re responsible for. Whatever you do, don’t be afraid to get a little messy and have fun.
